World Environment Day is not just a celebration but also a remainder to takecare of our surroundings.
SRP Foundation (CSR arm of Shree Renga Polymers) contributed to the World Environment Day on June 5th 2022 by planting 150 Trees and created Miyawaki forest in manavasi further strengthening our commitment to add green cover to our district. This is our 2nd Miyawaki forest.
We also cleaned a village in Kakkavadi Panchayat. The people of the village and our employee volunteers cleaned the place, segregated the waste and created awareness among the people about Degradable and Non Degradable Waste. We distributed two waste bins for all the houses in the village and educated them the importance of waste segregation. We also planted trees in the village.
At the end of the day we provided food for the people in the village with all satisfaction and happiness.
The day make us realise,act and spread awareness that we have #onlyOneEarth.
